LITURGY is the rites, rituals, worship, and spiritual practices of the church that have guided followers of Christ through the ages in their spiritual progression. Liturgy is structured around the cycle of the church year which takes the believer on a journey through the life of Christ. Utilizing symbols and actions that engage the senses, and with the natural cycle of the seasons in creation, liturgy is

Discovering the Saints is dedicated to helping members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints rediscover the formational power of the spiritual practices and traditions that sustained our ancestors before the restoration; and form new traditions celebrating the heritage we have today as Latter-day Saints.

We have been experiencing chronic illness and unexpected deaths in our family lately along with other difficult things. This has made it challenging to keep up with pages and posts for the current seasons of the church year. I apologize to those who have come here looking for information and inspiration for the most important season of the year, Easter. I’m not giving up on this project so please keep coming back and my prayer is that no matter how we individually choose to spend this Easter season our remembrance of the glorious mystery and power of the resurrection will fill your hearts with joy.
