Each president of the church has brought something new and special to the Restoration, remembering their lives and leadership connects us with the history of the church and its important teachings.
Note: The day given in each article for the memory of a President of the Church is the day they died. Traditionally within Christianity, and other religions like Judaism, once a person has passed on their lives and efforts are honored on the day they passed away, as that is the day they completed their progress on earth.

Thomas S. Monson
Thomas S. Monson was President of the Church from February 3, 2008 to January 2, 2018. He was involved in significant changes to Church procedure and global outreach, both before and during his time as President.
Harold B. Lee
Harold B. Lee was President of the church from July 7, 1972 to December 26, 1973. He oversaw the establishment of the church welfare program and the church correlation program.
